Residents at Collisdene Care Centre in Strathaven recently teamed up with Sainsbury’s to create High Tea boxes for Alzheimer’s Day, raising an impressive £650 for the Alzheimer’s Society.
These High Tea boxes, lovingly crafted by the residents themselves, quickly became a hit among shoppers, receiving overwhelming support from the community. Rosie Brennan, activities coordinator at Collisdene Care Centre, expressed her delight, saying, “Our latest fundraiser has truly touched our hearts.”
In a close-knit community where Alzheimer’s is a shared challenge, the residents’ dedication shone bright. Rosie emphasised, “In our close-knit community, Alzheimer’s is a challenge we all face together.” Every pound raised brings them a step closer to finding a cure and offering hope to those affected by this condition.
Kudos to the Collisdene Care Centre residents, Sainsbury’s, and the generous community for their remarkable efforts!
