About the position

We're looking for dedicated individuals with the right attitude, skills, and knowledge to help us deliver the highest quality of care. As a Deputy Manager, you'll play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents. The Successful candidate will have previous experience as a Deputy Care Home Manager or as a clinical lead along with an active NMC Pin.   Responsibilities: – Assist the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of a home care facility – Provide direct care and support to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living – Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules and protocols – Monitor and document residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns to the Manager – Coordinate and communicate with healthcare professionals, families, and other staff members to ensure quality care for residents – Assist in developing and implementing care plans for individual residents – Supervise and train staff members in proper care techniques and protocols – Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and policies   Requirements: – Nursing qualification and active PIN number – Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a home care or healthcare setting – Knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols – Strong communication and interpersonal skills – Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively – Compassionate and caring attitude towards residents – Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team – High level of professionalism and integrity Note: Additional requirements may vary depending on the specific needs of the home care facilit   How to Apply We kindly ask you to complete the application form provided below and then click the submit button to send us your details. Woodhurst Care Centre in Carluke is currently seeking an experienced Care Home Administrator to join our hard working and dedicated team on a part time basis for 16.5 hours per week. Woodhurst Care Centre is a charming former manse situated in a quiet, leafy area within walking distance of Carluke. Set in extensive grounds, the centre combines a historic property with modern facilities. The home has been sympathetically refurbished with purpose-built extensions added. Woodhurst specialises in a range of residential care for the elderly, from assistance with basic living tasks through to elderly nursing clients. The successful Administrator will have excellent communication skills and be a confident team player. You will have previous knowledge of book keeping and accounting computer packages.
