We got our hands well and truly mucky this afternoon as we kicked off our spring planting at The Rowans in Macclesfield!
Starting simple, we planted cress seeds together, carefully filling trays with compost, sprinkling the tiny seeds, and giving them a gentle watering. There was lots of laughter as we compared muddy fingers and chatted about what we’re hoping to grow next.
Spring is such a lovely time of year for new beginnings, and gardening is a wonderful way for us to work together and spend time doing something creative and rewarding. It’s amazing how something so small can bring so much joy.
This is just the beginning – once our cress is thriving, we’re planning to move on to herbs and colourful pansies to brighten up our spaces even more.
We can’t wait to see our little seedlings start to grow!
